Have you ever felt the breeze
and stood unshaken
Have you ever been pattered by raindrops
and gone untouched
Have you ever felt the rhythm of music
and been unmoved
Have you ever seen a damsel
and stayed not flustered
Have you ever been smiled at by a babe
and remained unhappy
Have you ever loved an angel
and lived not to realize it

Lighten My Path
You hold my hand and walk
So I know where I'm heading
Without you how do I know the path
A friend like you is a light
That not just makes me bright
But also my path
So I know where I'm heading
Without you how do I know the path
A friend like you is a light
That not just makes me bright
But also my path

The Bliss from the Sky
How I wish you would come on,
As a shower of joy, a shower of fresh
A blessing from the sky
Ye, you beautiful dark clouds,
Gather and spread your tresses,
Pour the celestial ambrosia;
Sprinkle the earth,
Drench the world,
Refresh the mind,
Save from the burn;
Shower on, rain on,
Pour On Eternal Moments
Let us Live On Valued Earnest;
Build the bridge
Unite the sky and the earth,
And make us walk on the rainbow
As a shower of joy, a shower of fresh
A blessing from the sky
Ye, you beautiful dark clouds,
Gather and spread your tresses,
Pour the celestial ambrosia;
Sprinkle the earth,
Drench the world,
Refresh the mind,
Save from the burn;
Shower on, rain on,
Pour On Eternal Moments
Let us Live On Valued Earnest;
Build the bridge
Unite the sky and the earth,
And make us walk on the rainbow
Poems by Rumi
Been reading some poetic works by Jalaluddin Rumi, the philosopher musician. As you read on his enthralling and soul-stirring creations, you cannot help but become one with his thoughts. Associated with Rumi are the famed whirling Dervishes; the both go on to instill a sense of awe and joy, not just in the mind, but in the soul.
Some thoughts of Rumi -
"We are the flute, our music is all Thine;
We are the mountains echoing only Thee;
And movest to defeat or victory;
Lions emblazoned high on flags unfurled
The wind invisible sweeps us through the world"
"In your light I learn how to love
In your beauty, how to make poems
You dance inside my chest,
where no one sees you,
but sometimes I do,
and that sight becomes this art"
